The benefits of Gore-Tex Paclite have kept it going for years: full weather protection, great breathability, low weight and fantastic packability. The only problem has been that due to its superlight nature, it hasn’t been very abrasion resistant: carrying a heavy backpack with Paclite has not been a good idea.

Now Gore comes out with a new version to fix this problem: Paclite Plus, with a much more durable inside. The Meridian Jacket is made entirely of this new material, making it light, weatherproof and highly versatile.
